Rubberwood is a light-coloured medium-density tropical hardwood usually obtained from trees grown in rubber plantations. Rubberwood is strong, harder than some coniferous species so will not scratch easily having approximately the same hardness as walnut and teak but a little bit softer than oak. Rubberwood tops can be ordered in many bespoke dimensions and thicknesses. They can be also finished to order.
